It's gorgeously fragrant on the nose, showing grilled peach, lemon peel, vanillin oak, and brioche characters, followed by a concentrated palate offering a creamy mouthfeel, backed by well-balanced acidity, making it delicious and highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2036.

A neatly crafted chardonnay from down at Padthaway. Has the regional stone fruit richness balanced but a fine acidity and a little edge of citrus. The slightly toasty oak brings a complex dimension into the palate to complement the light melon and nectarine characters. Nice wine in the short term.
