It's sweetly ripe and complex on the nose showing cassis, mulberry, rich floral, olive and roasted hazelnut aromas. The palate delivers excellent focus and richness, beautifully supported by fine texture and grainy tannins. The wine is wonderfully harmonious and balanced with a lengthy sturdy finish. This has been sourced from the Reschke Vineyard in Coonawarra. Loaded with generous fruit, layered with blackcurrant, plum and cherry with just a little bay leaf. The oak and tannin balance is spot on, providing balanced support for the fruit through to the finish. Like the chalky tannin texture.
