Bright crimson-ruby with excellent clarity and vibrancy, showing almost no age at nine years old.
The nose is fresh and inviting, offering classic Coonawarra cassis, crunchy red fruits and ripe blackberry layered with a subtle hint of bay leaf and savoury spice. On the palate this is remarkably bright and delicious. Vibrant cassis, juicy red and blackberry fruit burst with life, supported by fine tannins and outstanding freshness. For a 9-year-old wine, the energy, purity and drinkability are exceptional. A stunningly well-preserved and vibrant single-vineyard Coonawarra Cabernet that delivers both elegance and pure drinking pleasure.
★★★★★ Exceptionally vibrant and deliciously drinkable.

This is impressively styled and expressed, showing cassis, tobacco, warm spice, and toasty oak characters on the nose. The palate is equally gratifying with outstanding weight and depth, wonderfully complemented by refined texture and chalky tannins. Structured and sturdy, while offering supple mouthfeel, it's gorgeously complex and hugely appealing. At its best: now to 2035.

Coming from the heart of Coonawarra, it has the weight, perfume and structure you expect from this great Cabernet region. And then there is the power. Wow, there is power. Perfumed notes of blackcurrant and blackberry with a leafy cherry and dark chocolate nuance. The palate is still in its primary phase, with the fine chalky tannins and gentle hit of oak holding the fruit, caressing it through to a very long finish.
